The Friends of the Albert Lea Public Library will hold their fall used book sale on Oct. 13, 14 and 15. The sale will be held in the city center garage on Fountain Street. On Oct. 13 the sale will be for members only from 4 to 7 p.m. People may become a member at the sale for $5.

On Oct. 14 the sale will be from 2 to 6 p.m. On Oct. 15 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. there will be a bag sale of the remaining books. There will be hard cover books, paperbacks, children’s books, audio books, videos and DVDs for sale. Prices range from 25 cents to one dollar. All proceeds from the sale help fund projects such as our recent Minnesota author night, many programs at the children’s library and other library purchases not covered by government funding.
