Disc golf tour crowns champions

Fourth-seeded Travis Trammel of Ankeny, Iowa, and top-seeded Suzanne Hillyard of Newton, Iowa, pose with the trophies they won on Oct. 29 in disc golf match play at the North Iowa Tour Finals in Northwood, Iowa. The tournament wrapped up a disc golf series that began in March and included a stop in Albert Lea called the Bancroft Bay Open. The 2012 tour starts with the Spring Doubles Tournament on March 31, 2012, in Coulter, Iowa. The Bancroft Bay Open in Albert Lea takes place May 26, 2012. -- submitted
