Orthodontist lectures at meeting in Dallas

Dr. Wayne Sletten, Albert Lea orthodontist, lectured at the annual meeting of the OBI Foundation for Bioesthetic Dentistry. The meeting was held in Dallas, Texas, on Nov. 3-6. The Foundation for Bioesthetic Dentistry is an educational organization that teaches comprehensive dentistry based on a biologicalty ideal model of dental health. The foundation provides courses on an international basis.
Sletten’s lecture was titled “Bioesthetic Orthodontics — What orthodontists can do and can’t do.” This was the focus on the interdisciplinary relationship between dentists and orthodontists.
Sletten accepted an appointment as a faculty member for the foundation’s educational programs. He is also working with the foundation and Loma Linda University School of Dentistry to publish Sletten’s research in the area of temporomandibular problems.
