Don’t let Gingrich baggage halt him

When Newt Gingrich went into Congress, his goal was to take over the House of Representatives. There were people he supported who were pro-abortion even though he is pro-life. In the ’90s the Republicans took over the house and balanced the budget after 40 years. Plus they got welfare reform done.
Newt also went against President Bush No. 1 when he raised taxes. Now Bush 1 backs liberal Mitt Romney. Look what the two Bushes gave us as presidents. Romney said he doesn’t think Barack Obama is a socialist. Romney is the only candidate who hasn’t signed on to the Strong America Now program that will cut $500 billion in waste a year, not raise taxes, cut any programs and balance the budget by 2017.
Has Newt really changed and learned from his past mistakes? If he has, how much does Newt’s personal life matter?
Because his solutions are to the point, and they will work.
A lot of Newt’s baggage is his private life, plus he made a lot of money running a consulting firm after he left Congress.
But how much should we let that bother us when we are trying to save America, the Constitution, the principles and values our Founding Fathers gave us?
So if you want to concentrate on the baggage in Newt’s past rather than on the nation’s future, just remember what Winston Churchill said: “If the past sits in judgment on the present, the future will be lost.” If Obama wins again the America we once knew will be lost!
