PM Report: Burglaries reported

Two TVs and a DVD player were reported stolen from a camper at 601 E. 11th St. around 4 p.m. Thursday.
A home owner came home to their front door open at 76576 150th St. around 5 p.m. Wednesday. They didn’t see anything missing but heard the front door slam from another room. No arrests were made.
Money stolen from church
Calvalry Baptist Church, 2016 Bridge Ave., reported it had been broken into and money stolen around 10:30 a.m. Thursday.
Guns missing
Guns were reported missing out of the vacant home at 214 E. Second St. at 10:47 a.m. Thursday. This is the same home where investigators found a floor heater had come loose from the floor and cracked the gas line, which in turn ignited and began burning early in the morning of Dec. 1. Firefighters fought the blaze for three hours. No one was home at the time.
Also, a Mossberg 12-gauge shotgun was reported stolen from 121 Lake Ave. at 11:17 a.m. Thursday.
Illegal dumping reported
The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office responded to a complaint of subjects dumping garbage at the compost site on Hollandale’s south side Wednesday around 9:22 a.m.
