Well, Christmas has finally arrived. The season for kindness to one and all. If you look back at the past few weeks, can you say you’ve done something out of the ordinary to be kind to someone? You still have another week to do something kind for someone you know or don’t know. It’s time to spread the love around.

This message is not only for the regular citizens of this county, but for the city leaders. Isn’t it time someone answered the question people in this town are waiting to hear, why a certain employee received preferential treatment for misdeeds than another had received. One was able to leave town with their head held high while the other was literally thrown in jail. Don’t you think it’s time one of you stands up and does the honorable thing by explaining to this community why this decision was made?

Not only did you let this travesty happen, but you made it worse by agreeing to drop the charges if he resigned. Well, he did and you didn’t. Shame on you. If you didn’t have the authority, you shouldn’t have made a “contract” with him. So someone needs to stand up, be an honorable person and tell this community the truth.
