Air temp record broken

Albert Lea set yet another record for a high temperature in January.

The high on Tuesday was 52, shattering the record for Jan. 10 by 7 degrees. The old mark had been 45, set in 1928. The warm day is expected to be followed by a cold one. Snow is in the forecast for today and possibly Thursday.

The next time above freezing is expected to happen Monday, which has a high of 34.
