Adrian Castillo, 18, was arrested on a charge of theft from vehicles, possession of burglary tools, possession of stolen property, tampering with a motor vehicle and fifth-degree possession of a small amount of drugs at 2:30 a.m. today near St. John Avenue, according to police reports.

 

House broken into

The resident at 305 Vine Ave. reported around 4 p.m. Monday the home had been broken into. Property worth about $300 had been taken, according to police reports.

 

Hit and run reported

The owner of a beige Mercury Sable reported to police at 10:15 a.m. Monday the car had been hit.

 

Man arrested on warrant

Jeremiah Madrigal, 35, was arrested on a warrant from Hennepin County and was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia at 11:16 p.m. Monday, according to police reports.

 

Driver who hit tree released from hospital

Amy Dobberstein, 21, of Waseca, was released from St. Marys Hospital in Rochester on Saturday. She was transported to the hospital after her northbound car left Interstate 35 near the Geneva exit and struck a tree at 12:37 a.m. Saturday, the State Patrol reported.
