PM Report: Cars reported in ditches

Numerous cars were reported in the ditch on New Year’s Day in Freeborn County. No injuries resulted from the incidents.
According to reports, a vehicle was reported in the ditch of northbound Interstate 35 near mile 16 at 12:22 a.m. Sunday.
A vehicle was reported in the median of Interstate 35 south of mile 20 at 12:43 a.m. Sunday, reports stated.
A car was reported in the ditch of 82720 215th St., Hayward, at 1:02 a.m. Sunday.
A car reportedly slid into a ditch and hit a pole on Freeborn County Road 46 east of County Road 4 at 3:51 p.m. Sunday.
Windows broken out
Numerous windows were reported broken out of businesses and residences in Albert Lea over the weekend.
According to reports, a window was broken out of 2225 E. Main St. at 6:42 a.m. Saturday. The incident reportedly took place overnight.
Five windows were reported shot out of the former Snyder Drug building, 201 W. Main St., at 10:29 a.m. Saturday, according to reports.
Several windows were reported shot out of the former Walmart building at the Skyline Plaza, 1701 W. Main St., at 11:12 a.m. Saturday, reports stated.
A window was reported broken out of an apartment at 422 E. Seventh St. at 3:41 a.m. Sunday, according to reports.
Two windows were reportedly shot with a BB gun at 209 St. Peter Ave. at 11:05 a.m. Monday. The incident reportedly took place Friday night.
Two buses at Cedar Valley Services, 2205 Myers Road, reportedly had windows that were broken out at 1:28 p.m. Tuesday, according to reports.
Chimney fire reported
A chimney fire was reported at 109 Freeborn County Road 13 in Myrtle at 2:19 a.m. Sunday, according to reports. No other information was available as of press time.
Scrap metal stolen
Scrap metal was reported stolen from 625 W. Main St. at 11:58 a.m. Friday, according to reports.
