Two people died Sunday afternoon after a rollover on Interstate 90 one mile west of the Bricelyn exit.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, icy road conditions contributed to the crash, in which Randy L. Fjeld, 45, and Sally D. Tadych, 44, both of Circle Pines, are reported to have died.
State Patrol reports indicate the crash took place at about 2:15 p.m.
Authorities state Fjeld and Tadych were in a 2004 Ford Super Duty truck that was eastbound on I-90 near mile 133 when the truck went into the center median and rolled, landing in the westbound lane of the interstate.
Fjeld was listed as the driver and Tadych was the passenger.
Neither were reported to be wearing their seat belts.
The State Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Faribault County Sheriff’s Office, Bricelyn fire and ambulance crews and Frost ambulance crews.
