A man called his daughter and reportedly told her he was going to take pills and set himself on fire with gasoline near 820 Happy Trails Lane in Albert Lea at 4 p.m. Monday. The man was in the parking lot south of Trail’s Travel Center.

Albert Lea Police reports said the man was taken to the emergency room for evaluation.

 

People arrested for DWIs

Kaylee Jo Hillman, 22, was arrested for third-degree DWI after testing 0.27 at 2:15 a.m. Saturday at North Ermina Avenue and Water Street in Albert Lea. Reports state she was taken to detox.

Jerry Richard Lein Jr., 55, was cited for third-degree DWI after testing 0.15 and also cited for small amount of marijuana during a traffic stop at Jefferson Avenue and West Front Street at 2:24 a.m. Sunday.

 

Man arrested for felony drug possession

Selerino Sosimo Del Angel, 21, was arrested and held for felony drug possession and not having a Minnesota driver’s license after a traffic stop at 6:47 p.m. Sunday at 2101 E. Main St.

 

Woman arrested after probation violation

Anastasia Nicole Lee, 25, was arrested for fifth-degree drug possession and violating release conditions at 7:31 p.m. Sunday at 2102 E. Main St.

 

2 arrested on warrant

Klarissa Trevira Morua, 18, was arrested on a warrant from the Austin Police Department for misdemeanor shoplifting at 12:09 a.m. Monday at 920 W. Front St. Anthony Allen Kamish, 19, was also arrested on a warrant from the Austin Police Department for misdemeanor shoplifting.

 

1 arrested for obstruction

Keith Allen Anderson, 30, was arrested for obstructing justice and open container violations at 2 a.m. at 134 W. William St. He tested 0.232, according to reports. Amanda Marie Garza, 30, was also cited for open container violations. Police originally were called to the location for a fight, but when they arrived, there was no fight.

 

2 cited for underage drinking

Darrell Isiah Luttrell, 19, was cited for underage drinking and driving, open bottle violation and possession of drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop near Newton Avenue at 11:27 p.m. Saturday. Brianna Nicole Meyer, 19, was also cited for underage drinking, according to reports.

 

Theft reported

An air compressor was reported stolen at 11 a.m. Monday at 21657 850th Ave. The address is on County Road 30 just north of its junction with County 46.

 

People arrested on warrants

Nicholas Joseph Flores, 21, was arrested for violating terms of probation at 702 Water St. in Albert Lea at 6 p.m. Friday, according to reports.

Priscilla Ann Valenzuela, 37, was arrested on a local warrant around 6 p.m. Saturday on Jefferson Avenue in Albert Lea, according to reports.
