The Albert Lea Police Department assisted officials from Mower County who were looking for a 2001 red Pontiac Grand Am that was a suspect in a hit-and-run crash in Austin. Reports state an officer took some photos and sent them to the Mower County Sheriff’s Office.

 

Man cited for burning violations

Michael Edwin Lee was cited for burning prohibited materials and not having a burning permit at 4:45 a.m. today at 19475 724th Ave., along the west side of Pickerel Lake, according to Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office reports. It is not the same Mike Lee is who a Freeborn County commissioner.
