Subsidized corn isn’t for fuel

If the U.S. government continues to put corn farmers on a subsidized welfare program to produce ethanol, the cost of protein will continue to skyrocket. Protein is the building block for children’s growth and is now cost prohibitive for many families. We should insist that subsidized corn production be converted to animal protein rather than ethanol.
