Girl Scouts Celebrations: It’s more than selling cookies — this year celebrates the 100th year for Girls Scouts of America. Leader manuals have been updated; invitations for co-leaders are for 6-8 weeks of your time and special talent. Scout troops are also interested in touring your work to learn more about careers. You can help, so please call Gege Abraham at 507-475-1755 to help.

Habitat’s Re-Store: Going ‘green’ for housing is getting easier with Habitat for Humanity’s new Re-Store 919 W. Main, Albert Lea. You can keep the ‘green’ going by volunteering to staff the store Thursdays from 4 to 7 p.m. or Saturdays from 9 to noon.
