The Rasmusson family regrets to announce the death of Mr. Alan Rasmusson. He died March 18, 2012, in Ottawa, Canada, at the age of 65.

Alan grew up in Emmons, but had lived in Ottawa for the last several decades. He was the husband of Ghyslaine Rondeau and the son of Everett and Nellie Rasmusson of Albert Lea.

He is survived by his wife; his mother; sisters: Joanne (Earl K. Jensen) and Judith (Robert F. Brown); many brothers and sisters-in-law; an aunt; and nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

A celebration of his life took place at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 25, 2012, at the Cooperative Funeral Home in Ottawa Canada.
