On Tuesday the Albert Lea High School bands will present their “Music in Our Schools Month” concert. The performance will be at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium, and will feature the Tiger Band, Symphonic Band and Concert Band, as well as featured solos and ensembles. The Symphonic and Concert bands will combine to play two pieces from the joint trip they are taking to Chicago this weekend. Tickets are available at the door and are $7 for adults and $5 for students and seniors. Children preschool and under are free. Family music passes work for this concert and will be available for $35 for those still interested in purchasing one. They are good for all band, choir and orchestra concerts this school year. The groups are led by Director of Bands Suzanne Mauer.
