The public is invited to hear the Area Community Choir, under the direction of John Degner of Wells perform the cantata “No Stone Could Hold Him.” The cantata is a dynamic witness to the living rock of salvation by Lloyd Larson.

The Area Community Choir is made up of members from Wells, Alden, Kiester, Freeborn and the Albert Lea area. Performances are during Holy Week at the following locations:

Sunday: 2 p.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran in Wells for Palm Sunday service

Tuesday: 7 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Albert Lea

April 6: 7 p.m. at Freeborn Congregation Church in Freeborn for Good Friday service

An offering will be taken. All proceeds go to the food shelf and to help defray expenses. All performances are followed by refreshments.
