Fern J. Boekelman, 91, of Titonka, Iowa, died Monday at Heritage Nursing Home in Bancroft. A funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the United Methodist Church in Titonka. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Oakcrest Funeral Services of Titonka, and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. Maxine Kuechenmeister
Maxine Kuechenmeister, 86, of Wells, died Monday, March 12, 2012, at the Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Casimir Catholic Church in Wells. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. and a Rosary service will be held at 9:45 a.m., all at St. Casimir Catholic Church on Friday morning. Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells is assisting the family with arrangements.

Hazel Schroeder
Hazel Marion Schroeder, 86, of Bricelyn, died Tuesday, March 13, 2012, at Parkview Care Center in Wells. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church in Wells. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells is assisting the family with arrangements.

Gertrude Stalhiem
Gertrude M. Stalhiem, 89, of Deer Park, Wis., formerly of rural Albert Lea, died on Saturday, March 9, 2012, at the Willow Ridge Care Center in Amery, Wis. Funeral services will be at Grace Lutheran Church in Clear Lake, Wis., at 1 p.m. Thursday. Visitation will be at 11 a.m. until time of service Thursday.Scheuermann-Hammer Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
