February is busy for Hawthorne

All of the students at Hawthorne Elementary School received a free book in celebration of “I Love to Read Month.”
February was an exciting month at Hawthorne Elementary School. Students celebrated the 100th day of school and “I Love to Read Month.”

Some of the fun activities included author trivia, mystery readers and receiving free books. A culmination celebration was planned when Minnesota author Douglass Wood came Friday to work with students.
