On Thursday night, my wife and I participated in the Albert Lea Community Read. We discussed “The Grace Of Silence,” a beautifully written memoir by Michele Norris. The topic, overcoming racial intolerance, was very serious, but the format was informal and positive.

Discussing issues like this are important for the health of any community, and I look forward to the next event. Thank you, Albert Lea.
