Lens & Shutter Club

The Lens & Shutter Photography Club held its Feb. 16 meeting at Rofshus Precision Machine. There were 14 members in attendance.

February’s contest category was “Linear Photography.” Guest judges were Phil Klein, Shirley Klein and Sheila Petersen.

Members receiving competition awards were:

Linda Eisterhold, first place for “Teepee Top.”

Rachelle Roth, second place for “Silo Cage.”

Jim Wendel, third place for “Architectural Study.”

Honorable mentions were awarded to Mitch Pederson, Jamie Hauer and Bernadine Peterson.

Merit awards were awarded to Roth and Jean Aamodt. Barb Rofshus and Ron Oyer each won two merit awards.

A selection of competition entries, including winning pictures, will be displayed in the lobby of the Farmers State Bank, 1452 W. Main St., Albert Lea, this month. Each month there is a new display of club pictures at the bank.

Members receiving N4C Digital awards were: Wendel, one merit award for digital nature in January, and one for digital nature in February; and Darcy Sime, one merit award for digital nature in January.

Members receiving N4C Print awards were: John and Linda Eisterhold, one merit award each for N4C Color Prints competition in January.

The next meeting will be at 7 p.m. March 15 at Rofshus Precision Machine, 1701 Margaretha Ave., Albert Lea. Competition category will be Photojournalism.
