Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies cited Justin John Westlund for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated, no insurance and open bottle violations after his red pickup reportedly went into the ditch near the intersection of 730th Avenue and 300th Street in Hartland at 1:08 a.m. today. Reports indicate he was also cited for second-degree domestic assault.

House broken into

A rental house at 701 Madison Ave. was reported broken into at 10:10 p.m. Monday, according to reports.

Man cited for theft

Police cited Richard Lee Hoff, no address listed, for theft at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave., at 5:10 p.m. Monday.
