Photo of NRHEG player was great

I am up late checking out the Star Tribune, Pioneer Press, Mankato Free Press, Owatonna People’s Press and now the Albert Lea Tribune for stories on the New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva girls’ basketball team.
Your photo that leads the story is incredible. By far, it’s the best photo I’ve seen all evening and better describes the game than any words or other photos I have seen.
I’m at least the age of Carlie Wagner’s parents and live by Kiester and Walters. But a year ago, I saw NRHEG play in Wells and after the game went up to tell Carlie how much fun it was to watch her play (as a ninth-grader.) At that time I said she was by far the most athletic basketball player I have ever seen and an absolute joy to watch.
Fast forward to this season and after seeing her play multiple games, I believe she is on her way to become the new Lindsay Whalen or better.
So tonight (Wednesday) my friend and I were thinking about going to Target Center, but it just got too hectic and he had to watch kids and I couldn’t get away.
Last night I was thinking I wouldn’t get to work out as I clearly wanted to listen to the game. After the Panthers settled down and looked unfazed by playing the defending state champs, I wasn’t getting any work done and just loving the game (on the radio.) I realized I could pick up KCPI on my MP3 player, so figured why not burn off that excitement riding bike and listening to the game at the same time.
Wow! Good move! Hill climbing and a strong 17 miles of mountin bike pedaling and got to enjoy an incredible game.
And through all that, after seeing all the press wake up to the local phenom, Carlie Wagner, you captured it the absolute best in your picture!
Good job.
