For Albert Lea to get a Class 3 rating from the Insurance Services Office Inc. is great. To be ranked high on a scale that goes to 10 — with Class 1 being the highest — is a good sign for the Albert Lea Fire Department and will help everyone in the city maintain better insurance rates. The rating is yet another reason to maintain the staffing levels within the fire department. A reduction likely would mean a lower rating.
To the expansion of Mrs. Gerry’s Kitchen Inc.
We are glad that Mrs. Gerry’s is expanding and especially glad that the expansion is happening in Albert Lea and not elsewhere.
