Free family bike safety rodeo on May 19

Attention kids of all ages, learn how to be a better cyclist at the free Family Bike Safety Rodeo, 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 19, in the Southwest Middle School parking lot, 1601 W. Front St., Albert Lea.
This free event, for children and adults, will feature bike safety instructions, rules of the road, and bike handling skills. Free bike helmets, helmet fittings and bike inspections will also be available.
This event is sponsored by Pioneering Healthier Communities, the National Vitality Center, the Freeborn County Medical Society and the Minnesota Bike Alliance.
Bring your bike and helmet, or get a free helmet at the event if you don’t already have one, and learn how to bike safely around Albert Lea and Freeborn County this summer.
