Grass fire reported

A grass fire was reported at 7:45 a.m. Friday about one mile south of Hollandale on both sides of a drainage ditch near the intersection of 833rd Avenue and 270th Street, according to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office.
One injured in traffic crash
One man was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea Friday morning after a one-vehicle crash near the intersection of South Broadway Avenue and East Third Street. According to police, Freeman Ordean Rogness, 86, was transported. The crash took place at about 11:22 a.m.
2 men cited for DWI
Police cited Allen Majerus for driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop at 11:59 p.m. Friday near the intersection of West Main Street and South Washington Avenue, according to reports.
Police cited Luis Fred Cardenas, 21, for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated and open bottle violations after a traffic stop near the intersection of West Front Street and South First Avenue at 1:50 a.m. Saturday, reports stated.
Vehicle window smashed out
The back window of a white Saturn was reported smashed out at 919 W. Front St. at 9:28 a.m. Saturday, according to police.
Forged checks found
Forged checks were reported at Papa Murphy’s and Kwik Trip Saturday night, according to police.
