A cash box was reportedly taken from Crossroads Church, 3402 Hoeger Lane, on Sunday. The incident was reported to the Albert Lea Police Department at 4 p.m. Tuesday.

 

Man cited for possession

Christopher James Anderson, 31, was cited for possession of a small amount of drugs in a motor vehicle and paraphernalia during a traffic stop at 12:21 a.m. today near Frank Avenue and Front Street, according to reports.

 

Police chase motorcyclist

Alexander John Sheetz, 21, was held for felony fleeing after police pursued him on his green Kawasaki motorcycle right after midnight today, according to police reports.

A red 1997 Dodge Ram was reported damaged at 1:41 p.m. Tuesday at 705 W. 11th St. in Albert Lea, according to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office.

 

2 grass fires reported

Two grass fires were reported to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office around 10 p.m. Tuesday. One was in Freeman Township near Interstate 35’s southbound mile marker two; the other was in London Township by 875th Avenue and 130th Street.
