The United Methodist Women of Albert Lea are hosting a brunch at 9:30 a.m. April 28 at the United Methodist Church Social Hall. The brunch is followed by a Quilt Trunk Show presented by three quilting sisters: Joyce Stenzel, Jan Prescher and Merle Stensrud, who call themselves the Sew Happy Quilters. Each of them has been quilting for at least 25 years and will give the background of about 75 of their quilting projects. The quilts will be available for viewing after the program.

The cost is $10 per person, which includes brunch and the program. Tickets are available at Addie’s Floral downtown Albert Lea, Albert Lea Convention and Business Bureau, the United Methodist Church 702 S. Highway 69, Albert Lea, and at the door.
