Ruth L. Hareid, 90, of Burnsville, formerly of Albert Lea, passed away peacefully at her home on April 25, 2012.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Lloyd, and siblings: Cybil, Thelmer, Orville and Sanford Olson.

She is survived by her loving children: Kay (Don) Thielen and Karel Jelinek; five grandchildren: Brent (June) Thielen, Tiffany (Bryce) Cox, Amy (Jake) Rath and Jennifer (Tom) Jelinek Sundling and Lindsay Jelinek; and nine great-grandchildren; siblings: Sylvia (Verle) Taylor and Beatrice (Charles) Lee; sister-in-law Shirley Olson; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. Monday at Messiah Lutheran Church, 16725 Highview Ave., Lakeville, with a gathering of family and friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
