Gayle Brownlow’s Spanish 4 students from Albert Lea High School taught Spanish lessons to first-graders at Lakeview Elementary School recently. The high school students are helping to prepare the younger students for an upcoming unit on Mexico. The ALHS Tiger mascot even made an appearance at the event. The activity is beneficial and fun for both the older and younger students.

Ella Otten, Marleny Huerta Apanco and Christine Peterson teach the Spanish words for body parts to lead the song “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes.”
