Woman injured in crash

CLARKS GROVE — An Ellendale woman was transported by ambulance to a local hospital Wednesday evening after a traffic crash near the intersection of 775th Avenue and 325th Street north of Clarks Grove.
Reports stated Colton James Ryg of Hollandale was traveling eastbound in an Oldsmobile on 325th Street when he lost control on the gravel road and struck a Chevy Silverado driven by Ronnie Lee Bartness of Hartland.
The pickup rolled on its side.
Bartness had no apparent injuries, and, according to reports, Ryg had minor lacerations to the head.
According to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Ofice, Cassidy Worrell, a passenger in Ryg’s vehicle, was transported. A second passenger was not injured.
It is unclear to which hospital Worrell was taken.
Man arrested for assault
CLARKS GROVE — Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Shawn Michael Miller for domestic assault by strangulation, terroristic threats and disorderly conduct at 9:10 a.m. Wednesday at 107 E. Main St., Clarks Grove.
Equipment stolen
A piece of equipment was reported taken from behind K&K Bakery, 1105 S. Broadway Ave., sometime between last Friday and Tuesday. The incident was reported to police at 10:55 a.m. Wednesday, according to Albert Lea police.
