Mark and Andrea Stotts of Albert Lea announce the engagement of their daughter, Nicole Stotts, to Cole Thompson, son of Mark Thompson of Glenville and Dori Etheridge of Albert Lea.

Grandparents of Nicole are Rex and Lois Stotts and Orlo and Jean Willmert, all of Albert Lea. Grandparents of Cole are Marvin and Mary-Ann Thompson of Glenville and the late Harlan and late Julia Peterson of Albert Lea.

Nicole is a 2006 graduate of Albert Lea High School and a 2011 graduate of the University of Minnesota, Duluth. She is a substitute teacher.

Cole is a 2005 graduate of Glenville-Emmons High School, a 2009 graduate of the University of Minnesota, Duluth, and a 2011 graduate of Brainco – The Minneapolis School of Advertising. He is employed by the Lacek Group of Ogilvy and Mather.

A Sept. 22 wedding in Albert Lea is planned.
