Steve and Andrea Atwood of Spring Valley and Larry and Jodell Carr of Albert Lea announce the engagement of their children, Brooke Marie Atwood and Michael Joseph Carr.

Brooke is a 2007 graduate of Kingsland High School in Spring Valley and attended Winona State University in Winona and Southeast Technical College in Winona. She graduated with an early childhood education degree in December 2010. She is a professional nanny for a family in Lakeville and co-owner of ShopCarr.com.

Michael is a 2003 graduate of Albert Lea High School and a 2011 graduate of Winona State University with a degree in business adminstration. He is an assistant store leader at Kwik Trip in Farmington and co-owner of ShopCarr.com.

A June 2 wedding is planned at Good Earth Village in Spring Valley.
