Fourth of July fireworks fundraiser slated for June 1

The Albert Lea-Freeborn County Chamber of Commerce and KATE\KCPI radio are holding their annual Fireworks fundraiser on June 1 beginning at 6 a.m. Chamber staff, KATE staff and volunteers will be standing on the corner of Broadway and Main collecting donations for the 4th of July fireworks display. The goal for the 4th of July fireworks fundraiser is $16,000.
If you are unable to stop by and would still like to make a donation, there will be buckets placed at the following businesses throughout the county: Geneva Bar & Grill, Geneva, Jordahl Meats, Manchester, Village Café, Hartland, Hunter’s Bar, Myrtle, Nielsen’s Cenex, Hartland, Citizens State Bank, Glenville, Gopher Stop, Clarks Grove, Produce State Bank, Hollandale & Albert Lea, KATE Radio, Albert Lea, Hanson Tire, Albert Lea, Shell Food Mart, Albert Lea, Thorne Crest, Albert Lea, Trumble’s, Albert Lea, Albert Lea Convention & Visitors Bureau and Albert Lea-Freeborn County Chamber of Commerce.
