Ten years ago Christy Tryhus’ life was in chaos.
With demands from home, work and every other which way, Tryhus said her life was spiraling out of balance. But, after deciding to take back control over her life, Tryhus slowly learned how to maintain balance — and her sanity.

“Some of the women I have worked with, they’re completely overwhelmed,” she said. “When you ask them how they are, they say, ‘Busy!’ But really they’re not getting much of anything done because they’re so busy.”
Earlier this year, Tryhus, a certified life coach who lives in Owatonna, finished writing a book titled “Live Life Beyond the Laundry: 7 Strategies to Shift Life From Chaos to Calm.”
The book outlines some of the lessons she has learned on her journey to finding a balance in life, specifically lessons learned — and taught — throughout her eight years as a life coach.
Tryhus said there are a series of simple steps women can take to bring balance and order back to their lives, no matter how busy they may seem.
