Samuel Matheson, a 2010 graduate of Albert Lea High School, was named to the 2012 Spring Iowa Conference All-Academic golf team.

Matheson was a member of the Luther College golf team and is a management major who has maintained a 3.65 GPA.

Out of 234 athletes, Luther had a conference high of 48 students added to the team.

Matheson is the son of Joel and Teresa Matheson.
