Meyer elected Region 6 Lt. Gov. Elect of Kiwanis Minnesota-Dakotas District

Daybreakers Kiwanis member Darryl Meyer has been elected Region 6 Lt. Gov. Elect of the Minnesota-Dakotas District of Kiwanis International for 2012-2013. Region 6 includes 40 Kiwanis clubs and spans most of southern Minnesota.
Meyer is retired from the Freeborn County Department of Human Services, where he served as director for 21 years. He has been a Daybreakers Kiwanis member since 2007.
As lieutenant governor Meyer’s duties will include training club officers, helping clubs boost their membership, building new clubs and increasing club members’ engagement and morale. He will assume this role on Oct. 1 and serve for three years: first year as Lt. Governor Elect, second year as Lt. Governor and final year as Immediate Past Lt. Governor.
