Quilt-a-palooza

Quilts adorned the pews Saturday at the United Methodist Church of Albert Lea for the Brunch and Trunk Show. The program for the $10 event was the Sew Happy Quilters. A brunch followed the program. The Sew Happy Quilters are Joyce Stenzel of Wells, Jan Prescher of Ellendale and Merle Stensrud of Freeborn. -- submitted
Five generations showed up Saturday at Brunch and Trunk Show to see quilts, socialize, eat brunch and hear a speaker. Left to right are Katie Walton, Carol Schultz, Leona Schwartz, Grace Walton and Merle Stensrud. Schwartz holds a quilt that serves as a Christmas tree skirt.
