Jamie Leonhardi and Derek Swanson announce their engagement.

Jamie is the daughter of Ross and Shawna Leonhardi of Twin Lakes and Pete and Rhonda Andera of Manly, Iowa. Grandparents are Ron and Nyla Thompson, Audry and the late Charles Leonhardi of Emmons and Jerry and JoAnn Andera of Manly, Iowa.

Derek is the son of Daniel and Kimberly Swanson of Northwood, Iowa. Grandparents are David and Joyce Swanson of Northwood, Iowa, Olive and Vernon Schroeder of Hayward and Beulah and the late Si Thompson of Northwood, Iowa.

Jamie is a 2010 graduate of Riverland Community College with an associate’s degree in professional nursing. She is employed at Mercy Medical Center in Mason City, Iowa.

Derek is a 2007 graduate of Riverland Community College with an associate’s degree in extreme collision repair. He is employed at Eilertson’s Auto Repair in Northwood, Iowa.

A wedding is planned for July 14, 2012, in Albert Lea.
