Local trap shooters advance to state

The Alden-Conger trap shooting team will be going to the state tournament on Saturday and Sunday.
The Alden-Conger trap shooting team will advance eight shooters to the state tournament in Alexandria this weekend.
There are 57 teams representing 100 schools in the 2012 season of the Minnesota State High School Clay Target League.
The New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva trap shooting team advanced to the state tournament in Alexandria.
According to the MSHSCTL website, New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva will also have a team competing.
The state tournament will take place at the Alexandria Shooting Park.
The novice competition will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday with junior varsity to follow.
On Sunday, the varsity competition will begin at 9 a.m.
