MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Minnesota Lynx backup center Jessica Adair has undergone arthroscopic surgery on her right knee.
The team announced Friday the operation went as expected, by team orthopedist Dr. Joel Boyd.
Adair won’t play again until after the Olympic break, which ends in mid-August. The 25-year-old has appeared in 10 of 12 games this season for the Lynx, averaging 3.5 points and 2.4 rebounds in 9.5 minutes. Adair was signed as a free agent by the Lynx prior to the 2010 season.
