Tell us about your family: wife, Janet, three children and seven grandchildren; one daughter lives in Albert Lea and they have a son in North Carolina and a son in Becker

Where do you volunteer and how long have you volunteered there? Phil volunteers at the Freeborn County Historical Museum as a board member, helps with computers, maintenance, yard work and events. He also volunteers at his church, with Daybreakers Kiwanis and the food shelf.

Why do you volunteer? He volunteers to stay busy and give back to the community.

What was the last book you read? The last book he read was by John Sanford.

What are your hobbies? Volunteering, fishing and going to Arizona.
