Pelican Breeze II announces new crew members

The Pelican Breeze II Foundation board announced its new crew members for the 2012 season. Coming aboard as first mates are Mariah Howe, Gail Levorson, Nancy Greiner, Jody Bromeland all of Albert Lea, Sue Skaar of Hayward, and Suzann Wiersma of Wells. First mates are responsible for giving excellent customer service, narration of the history and wildlife of the area and making cruises memorable. Other first mates include Cheryl Page, Karla Kelly, Angela Sammon, Sue Zimmerman and Jean Eaton.
Captains in training are Bruce Ness, John Bromeland, both of Albert Lea, Tim Wiersma, of Wells, and Joel DeNeui of Blue Earth. All captains must have a license from the Department of Labor & Industry to navigate a boat for hire. The captains are responsible for the operation of the ’60 cruise boat and the safety of all of the 55 passengers. They will join captains Roy Page, Rex Stotts, Paul Stieler, Mark Roche, Bill Stieler, Tom Eaton all of Albert Lea, and Dave Behrends of Alden.
