Prizes awarded for Freeborn County Cancer Bike-A-Thon

Prize Night for the top money raisers for the Freeborn County Cancer Bike-A-Thon was held May 29 at the Skyline Plaza. The top 12 fundraisers received prizes from local merchants and a coupon from Hardee’s or McDonald’s.

Lisa (Hellickson) Stone was the top with $3,500 and received a mint set from Security Bank, Alicia Ryan with $3,090 received a Visa gift card from Trades and Labor Credit Union, David Anderson with $2325 received a cash gift from United Employees Credit Union, Richard Diaz with $1,825 received Chamber Bucks from US Bank, Jay Goskeson with $1,396 received a Silver Eagle Coin from Citizen State Bank Glenville, Glen Juveland with $940 received Chamber Bucks from Western Rental, Leon Bure with $885 received Chamber Bucks from State Farm Nancy VanderWaerdt, Weston Hulst with $728 received Chambers Bucks from Farmers State Bank, Greg Leidal with $700 received a gift certificate from Martins Cycling & Fitness, David Christenson with $615 received a gift certificate from Martins Cycling & Fitness, Leon Hellickson with $539 received a gift certificate from Martins Cycling & Fitness, Roger Bendickson with $509 received a gift certificate from Martins Cycling & Fitness. These riders along with area Service Clubs and the Marshall Islands group raised a total of $41,888.80.
