A grove of trees were reported on fire at 11247 830th Ave., Glenville, at 6:44 p.m. Friday, according to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office. The Myrtle Fire Department responded.
Car fire reported
A car was reported on fire at 80682 Second Ave. in Gordonsville at 9:41 p.m. Friday, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Semi fire reported
A semi was reported on fire at 8:25 a.m. Saturday off of Interstate 90, according to the Sheriff’s Office. The trailer was empty.
Boy injured by BB gun
An 8-year-old boy was reportedly shot in the hand by a BB gun, according to personnel from the emergency room at Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea at 6:27 p.m. Friday, according to authorities. No other information was available as of press time.
Tackle boxes stolen
Three tackle boxes were reported taken from a vehicle at 352 Hillcrest Circle in Clarks Grove at 10:04 a.m. Sunday, according to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office.
Woman cited for shoplifting
Police cited Holly Marie Nelson for shoplifting from Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave., at 6:47 p.m. Saturday, according to reports.
Juveniles cited
Police cited two juveniles for theft and curfew violations at 12:48 a.m. Sunday, after police received a call of two juveniles who had broken a solar light in the street near 501 Albert Lea St., according to reports.
Man cited for DWI
Police cited Tyler Scott Boyum, 24, for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop at 1:48 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of East Main Street and Ulstad Avenue, according to reports.
Window broken out
A window was reported broken out of a vehicle parked across the street from 1304 Marie Ave. at 4:31 a.m. Sunday, according to police.
