4-H sale and breakfast on Aug. 4

The Annual 4-H Livestock Sale held in conjunction with the Freeborn County Fair will be from 9 a.m. to noon Aug. 4 to in the indoor judging arena. There will be two rings again this year.
The champion and reserve steer, market heifer, dairy beef, swine, market litter, lamb, market meat goat, market dairy goat and market poultry and rabbits will be auctioned off from a special ring in the center of the judging arena following the sale of red and blue animals.
Each year just prior to the sale, a breakfast for buyers and guests is held. This is sponsored by the Freeborn County Fair Association and the 4-H Leader’s Federation. It will be held this year at 8 a.m. Aug. 4 at the Fairlane Community Center Building on the Freeborn County Fairgrounds.
