A group of ladies from the VFW Auxiliary, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and a VFW member gathered together and baked 140 dozen cookies for weary travelers who stopped at the Minnesota/Iowa rest area over the Fourth of July. The baking was done at the Moose Club. This is an annual event.
