Eddie Cochran car show award winners announced

Awards given out at the 26th annual Eddie Cochran car show on June 9 were:

The Appreciation of Many Years of Service presented to The Lowbuck’s Car Club.

The Mayor’s Choice Award was presented to Joe Neubauer of Wells for his 1970 Chevy Chevelle.

The Riverland College Student’s Choice Award presented to Ron and “Poopsie” Weise of Waseca for their 1951 Chevy Belaire two-door hardtop.

The Freeborn County Historical Society Award presented to Vicki Hansen of Minneapolis for her 1955 Ford Crown Victoria two-door sedan  presented by Tom Jacobson.

Participant’s Choice award was presented to Gary Pestorious of Albert Lea for his 1969 Dodge Charger two-door hardtop presented by Tom and Lynn Hestness of R & S Racing.
