Todd and Joanne Brackey of Twin Lakes announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie Brackey, to Derek Lenz, son of Lonny and Laurie Lenz of Emmons.

Grandparents of Katie are Parnell and Marge Brackey of Emmons and Earl and Dorothy Towne of Emmons. Grandmother of Derek is Helene Westrum of Albert Lea.

Katie is a 2004 graduate of Albert Lea High School and a 2008 graduate of University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire with a bachelor’s degree of business administration in management. She is the manager at Pub 69 in Twin Lakes.

Derek is a 2000 graduate of Glenville-Emmons. He is in crop production services in Mansfield and farms with his family.

A wedding is planned for July 21 at First Lutheran Church in Albert Lea.
