A community-wide registration day for a new pre-kindergarten program at Albert Lea Area Schools will be from noon to 3 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m. at both Sondergaard Park and Memorial Park in Albert Lea on July 26. Spanish interpreters will be available.

The pre-kindergarten will be during the 2012-13 school year at Halverson Elementary School. It’s for students age 4 or older as of Sept. 1 who are not enrolled in kindergarten. For more information call Community Education at 379-4834.
